It is our proud boast that for the 12th consecutive year we hold the record of being crowned the overall Sri Lanka Schools Champions with a total of 585 points. We also won the Under 17 overall Championship and overall senior championship.

Among our other unique achievements are the winning of the Ambalangoda open two mile sea swim with 78 points.. Master Dilendra was declared the Best Junior Sea Swimmer. Our Junior Team emerged Champions with 81 points at the 78th Mount Lavinia Sea Swim. We also won the Pentathlon Swimming Champion Championship with 16 points. We were declared Champions at the Sri Lanka Novices Swimming Championship with 123 points At the Sri Lanka Schools Aquatic Sports Union Novices Championships we were declared champions with 122 points. At the National School Games we won the Championship with 42 points and the National Age Group Relay Championships with 104 points.

At the Junior National Short Course Meet were declared Champions with 119 points. At the 41st Age Group Aquatic Championships we were the Champions with a total of 337 points.

Our students Sachil Perera, Eshan Sovis and Navod Sebastian represented Sri Lanka at the 8th Asian Age Group Swimming Championships held in Bangkok, Thailand. At the Unter House Swimming Meet Melizan House was placed first, Coudert House second, Marque House third and Bonjean House fourth. The Chief Guest was Rev. Fr. Bonnie Fernandopulle.

The Captain for Swimming was master Sachil Perera, and the Vice Captains were master Kenneth De Zilva and Shehara Perera. The Assistant Coached were Mr. Jeevan Tharange and Mr. Venura Sovis.
