Going in the trends of the virtual aspirations of the 215' century, our children are ever ready to face the challenges that will befall them in terms of technology and its developments. The ICT Society of the College is one of the most sought after Societies because of the magnificent role they perform during any given time of the academic year. They provide a fitting platform, a worthy preparation for the working world and an inspiration for the younger generations to aspire towards a career preparation which will enable them to enter into the Global Village. The Computer Centre and the laboratories provide IT education to the student body of St. Josephs College. Courses are conducted in Microsoft Office Applications, Graphic Designing, Internet and E-mail and Web Designing. In the year 2009, the Computer Laboratories of Collegiate, Middle and Primary sections were refurbished with 110 new computers. Forty new computers were installed in the Collegiate and Middle School section to enable the students to improve their skills in ICT. The Academic Staff was given training in the basic skills of the Computer. The Management Centre of the College for ICT Literacy launched three programmes of study, Computer Driving License, a Certificate Course in English and the Certificate Level Course of the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts. In 2010, all the Computer Centres were linked with fibre optic enhancing for the monitoring of activities with one data base. A new version of the College Management System and database designed and sponsored by Virtusa Company was installed in September 2011. The Management System and database was redesigned by Virtusa Company and it was installed in June 2012.

Teachers in charge Ms. Nadeeka Dissanayake, Ms. Sanjeevani Ratnayake and Ms. Poornima Perera work with dedication and commitment developing the students in the Information Technology Skills.
